About
JOMO Pride Inc took over the reins of Joplin's annual Pride festival in 2018 - rebranding it as JOMO Pridefest and moving it to the heart of Downtown Joplin. Since gaining renewed visibility and support the festival has continued to grow each year and has now become the largest FREE 3-day Pride Celebration in Southwest Missouri, and one of the largest FREE LGBTQ+ Pride Festivals in the 4-State Region. JOMO Pride maintains Missouri's Largest Pride Flag stretching an eye-popping 104ft long! Handcrafted by volunteer members; Linnea Hanshaw and April Mead, the flag is proudly carried by the Joplin LGBTQ+ Community during the annual Joplin Pride Parade at JOMO Pridefest.
