SET-UP VENDOR LOGISTICS - JOMO Pride 2026

Welcome to the vendor lineup for Joplin's annual JOMO PrideFest – “Pride on 66”! We're excited for this year's changes and are glad to have your support! Please note that the placement of vendor booths will be given at the vendor check-in station for each day of JOMO PrideFest. Saturday September 5th vending is held on Joplin Avenue between 4th & 6th Streets in Downtown Joplin (11am-9pm) and Sunday September 6th is held at Landreth Park (11am-6pm). We encourage all participants who come to town on Friday the 4th to join us at the Pride on 66 Parade happening between 7th & 3rd on Main Street at 7pm and then our Pride Social at Blackthorn at 8pm. Please follow this basic overview of vendor guidelines for Saturday September 5th:

• Vendor Check-in starts at 7:30am. No vehicles are to be on Joplin Ave. after 10:30am! (Food Vendors please arrive EARLY!)

• Vendors must enter the event area on 5th Street from Main. Vendor Check-In will be located on the intersection of 5th & Joplin Ave. Please do NOT use any other road to enter the event area other than 5th Street from Main. Unless otherwise directed by, staff. 

• Vendors will be given their booth number at the vendor check-in area on the intersection of 5th & Joplin Ave. (Vendor spaces will be lined out and numbered on the street for easy navigation before the start of check-in)

• Once you have checked-in and receive your booth number please follow the directives of staff to access the vendor area.

• Vendors are to proceed to their numbered spot and unload all their equipment/props in the space provided. (10' x 10' unless arrangements were made for a larger space prior to the event) Then proceed to a parking space in the parking lots between Joplin Ave. & Main Street and return to their vendor space and continue set-up. Staff will be on hand to assist with loading/unloading if needed to ensure a smooth set-up and break-down process.

• Saturday's festival will start at 11am and run until 9pm. However, please note that breakdown of vendor spaces must start promptly at 8pm. Event staff will give all vendors early notice of breakdown. Joplin Ave. MUST be cleared of all vendors by 11pm! 

• Once breakdown of your area is complete vendors may retrieve their vehicles and follow the same directions for re-entry back into the event area. (on 5th Street from Main.) 

• Please note that vendor entry/re-entry is limited to 1 lane so it's important to use your time wisely and set-up and break-down your area in the time provided. 

• Joplin Ave. will re-open at 11:01pm. All vendors must be clear from Joplin Ave before that time. If you need additional time to pack or clean, please relocate to the sidewalk closest to your space to finish breakdown. 

• JOMO PrideFest is a rain or shine event. However in the event of severe weather Pridefest staff may postpone or cancel the event.

• All vendors selling products will need to have a business license (Vendor/Merchants license) from the Joplin City Clerk which is available on the 3rd Floor of City Hall. Vendors selling items will be REQUIRED to show their vendor license during check in. If you are from out of town please call (417) 624-0820, ext. 1242 to make arrangements to send in your application and vendor fee ahead of the event. Vendor licenses are $5 to $75 if you are a food vendor. This MUST be done in person or through the mail.

• No electric outlets will be available to vendors on Saturday except food vendors that have made arrangements with us. Please come prepared for your space to be self-sufficient with generators if needed.

• Food vendors please arrive early for easy access to your vendor locations. 

• If you have any questions or issues please locate event staff wearing the lanyard event badges OR yellow vests. 

• Please take all trash with you or dispose of it properly.

• Please be courteous and respectful of all businesses, other vendors, participants & city property. 

• In case of injury first aid will be located at the JOMO Pride Booth.  

Please follow this basic overview of vendor guidelines for Sunday September 6th:

• Vendor Check-in begins at 8am, Pride In the Park to run from 11am to 6pm. 

• Vendors please drive vehicles to vendor check-in which is located in the paved parking lot between the Landreth Park Amphitheatre and Park Pavilion. Please watch for the signs and volunteers.

• Vendors will be given their booth number and a volunteer will direct them to their vendor spot which will be lined out in the grass with their booth number. 

• Vendors are allowed to keep their vehicles on the grass, BEHIND their booth space, but please make sure not to obstruct the vendor check-in/check-out process with other vendors. 

• All vendors are to keep their vehicles off the Landreth Park pedestrian walkway and paths unless entering or exiting the event area.

• Vendors may break down their booths and exit the Landreth Park lawn the same way they entered. 

• Food vendors will have access to electricity and are asked to come earlier to make sure we can easily navigate them to their vendor areas. 

• Each space is a 10x10 unless previous arrangements have been made. 

• If you have any questions or issues please locate event staff wearing the lanyard event badges OR yellow vests. 

• Please take all trash with you or dispose of it properly.

• Please be courteous and respectful of all businesses, other vendors, participants & city property.

Vendors that require a City of Joplin Special Event License for selling merchandise, please download the attachment provided and send it in to the City of Joplin ahead of JOMO Pridefest.
